Llondon Actress is another smaller artist from the modern UK Rap scene, piquing my interest with his single Country. This is a short four-track debut EP, none of the songs being even three minutes long. All of them are self-produced.
Forward is an okay intro, the Wave beat is pleasant but Llondon's rapping and singing on it is kind of directionless. Fml is more of an actual opener, with a more straightforward ethereal Trap beat and rapping. His flows on this tape are simple and fine melodically, nothing special. Dancing is a song with decent potential but like the rest of the songs on this it feels half-baked, better in idea than practice. I need change is great and easily the best song here, mainly because it feels the most finished of all of them with multiple verses and a hook.
Billionaire Supervillain is a mildly promising release, mainly showing off Actress' production skills but it often feels unfinished and aimless which is expected as it's so short. I hope he drops a full-length tape or at least another EP by the end of the year, as he does interest me despite how I talk about this project.
