What you'll immediately notice is the extremely lethargic delivery and surreal production. Completely unmastered, these beats very much feel like FL Studio demos but not necessarily to their detriment. Mostly Jerk, but at times veer into almost industrial territory because of their brashness. Hammerhead is my favorite song here with a hard yet stuttery beat and the closest thing to a competent flow on the tape. Losing hope freestyle fades in an out with incomprehensible rapping and messy production. Xul often reuses lyrics and has the almost exact same flow on every song, showing off the blasé mentality that pervades his music in general. He murmurs and mumbles, stumbling over himself and everything else present.
Obviously he's off-beat for a lot of this, but sometimes not even the beat can avoid succumbing to a complete lack of rhythm. Wax face starts with this alarm-like blare at the start as it drifts away into complete carelessness and dissonance.
I don't like the majority of this album, even though a few tracks are fun. Despite this, as an entire listen it is surprisingly smooth even when remixes are placed directly after the original tracks or when his delivery becomes completely unintelligible. Maybe describing this as an album is anachronistic, viewing it as a file dump or compilation would suffice. It's grown on me a lot since I first listened, so give it a few listens if you do check it out. If you still don't get it after, that's fine. I'm not even sure I like it myself.
