When Jerk started gaining more popularity, many rappers hopped on the bandwagon. Sniper2004 dropped this in May 2024, gaining massive amounts of popularity for a short time.
Disco Nite has a repetitive stuttery beat with okay rapping, but the vocal loop in the background is obnoxious. With such a strange aesthetic of being a sniper, it's a shame his rapping is pretty flavorless. Sniper gonna fuk has more of a Rage-influenced beat with repeated synths but is again nothing too crazy. It does have a very smooth beat switch halfway through which has the better half of the song after. The next two tracks are standard Trap-Jerk fusions that don't really make me feel anything, even if his flows are alright on them. Rifle Crew is a slower-paced outro, with one of the better beats on the EP and good rapping. The outro monologue about him buying a sniper rifle and quitting rap is charming.
This release is okay, but suffers from a lack of originality and personality. The production and rapping on their own are mostly fine, unfortunately they don't always go together.
